GENUINE CARE

Saunaday is a bathhouse designed for social self care

We draw inspiration from bathhouses and saunas around the world to bring people of all backgrounds together for the shared goal of enjoyable self care and social health. For over 4,000 years, cultures have relied on saunas and communal bathhouses as an integral part of both individual and community wellbeing. We look forward to sharing this experience with our Madison community, and together making it our own.

HUMAN CONNECTION

We draw on ancient methods to address modern challenges

At Saunaday, we draw from ancient technologies to address modern-day challenges—from the epidemic of loneliness to busy-ness, long and cold winter months, limited access to mental and behavioral health solutions, age segregation, as well as demands for healthy social activities and evidence-based solutions for a range of diseases including hypertension, cardiovascular disease, dementia, inflammation, and respiratory conditions.

MADISON MADE

A Local, Family-Owned Bathhouse

Saunaday is an independent, family-owned bathhouse built right here in Madison. The idea was inspired by global bathing traditions we’ve experienced and studied over time, and accelerated during the pandemic when a weekly sauna ritual became essential to staying regulated and connected.

We look forward to sharing Saunaday with our Madison community for many years to come — and to connecting with many of you personally while throwing water on the rocks.

With warmth and gratitude,
Jason & Roshelle
